"Capitalismo es Egoism"="Capitalism is Egoism".  On first glance, I balk and think that's some hippy garbage.  Shows how far from the tree I've fallen since my pre-Cuba college days.  I guess everyone goes through a Marxist phase though.  This, too, despite the fact that I work in sustainable development and social entrepreneurship.  And why balk at all, when it's not actually false?  I suppose the implication is that egoism is a bad thing that prevents people from holding hands.

There's a pretty fair bit of political and economic graffiti around here, way more than I'm used to in the States.  Some words just get associations that go way beyond what they actually mean, bolshevik and socialist coming to mind as two analogous examples.
