Notice on the left, its like a purely symbolic analog of the fancy plates on the right.   The surface of the buildings is different too.

Goes to show how most visible architecture is just an interchangeable layer on a structure, like a dress on a body.  Oh, contrast and dissonance, let me count the ways...
